NEWSKFM : The Springfield PA Shooting: A Tragedy in the Making : The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office affirms that a man was shot and killed in a clear uncontrollable anger shooting on Wednesday morning.
The shooting occurred on State Road (Route 1) close to Meetinghouse Lane in Springfield Township not long before 9 a.m.
The man killed was driving a white Toyota. Witnesses tell Action News they heard a lady shouting.
“I go to check the entryway and a lady is shouting to me. She’s like, ‘Help, someone help. Call 911, my better half is dead,'” said neighbor Jackie Washco.
Lead prosecutor Jack Stollsteimer was passing the crime location en route to work, halted to converse with agents, and affirmed the driver of the white Toyota had kicked the bucket.
He says the casualty was shot two times by a man in a dark vehicle or SUV.
Police say the suspect ran away from the area and stays overall.
Agents are requesting that close by inhabitants actually look at their cameras to check whether they caught video or pictures of the driver.
State Road southward was shut down from Springfield Road to Sproul Road for a few hours. It resumed around early afternoon.
