Darlene (Hogan) Wiegert

November 18, 1927 – June 27, 2022

NEWSKFM : 01.07.2022 : Darlene (Hogan) Wiegert died on Monday, June 27, 2022. Burial service administrations will be held Wednesday, July 6, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4200 N. 204th St., in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Confidential internment to be held sometime in the not too distant future.
Darlene was brought into the world in Fostoria, Ohio, on Nov. 18, 1927, to Ralph (Buzz) Hogan and Vera (Robertson) Hogan. She was brought up in Columbus, Nebraska, later going to secondary school in Fremont, Nebraska. It is in Fremont Darlene met her first love, Dale Wiegert. Dale’s vocation in the Central Intelligence Agency took them on many voyages and undertakings.

Darlene delighted in investing energy with family, engaging, swimming, painting, and sewing. She was an individual from the DAR, Omaha Metro Women’s, and medaled in the Senior Olympics.

She is gone before in death by her folks, Ralph and Vera Hogan; spouse, Dale Wiegert; child, Erich Wiegert; and sister, Helen Doty. She is made due by her youngsters, Hedy (Mike) Stathes, Brock Wiegert, Kurt Wiegert, and Linda (Jeff) Christensen; grandkids, Erik (Terese), Zach, Kort, Kurt, Keely, Brea, Kirsten, Kade, Brooke (Nick), Rachael; and extraordinary grandkids, Lauren, Cassidy, Ella, Zachary, Gus, Zoe, Ava, Arlo, Hazel, Hyde, Aiden and Radner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be associated with her savage love of family, blissful soul, giggling, and her enthusiasm forever. Our mom and grandma was an amazing radiance. Find happiness in the hereafter our dear soul. How we love you and will miss you so 2022.
